On the front, Vogelsicht has rings of bird food arranged like a target; from behind, the piece has a circular entrance. If the bird approaches from this side, it appears to someone looking from the other side in the centre of the target, but also in the middle of the food. From the front, Vogelsicht is a target made of bird food, from behind it looks like a bird box. The piece is one of a number of works by Susanne Lorenz on the theme of hunting which use the motif of the target.
