This series shows furniture and architectural motifs drawn from paintings and reliefs of the early Renaissance. The originally painted or sculpted details with their very distinctive perspective, not yet using stable vanishing points, are translated into plain wooden objects. With their distortions, the Perspektivobjekte refer to the pictorial space from which they originate, but in their new surroundings they are confronted with different circumstances and viewer perspectives.
